Born in Windsor Ontario, Rick Hundey’s careers in community planning, management and consulting led him to Toronto, London, Southampton and Exeter over the years. In 2005 his first place award in the Alice Munro Writers’ Festival Short Story Contest was all the encouragement he needed to leave the safety of suits and ties for the unknown world of mystery writing.

When he isn’t writing, the author spends time relaxing with his wife Jane, visiting with his sons, Eric and Tim, his daughters-in-law, Julie and Yvonne and his daughter, Beth and playing games with his grandson Lucas.

Rick is already immersed in the second Jack Beer mystery.
